This section is your gateway to understanding demand across countries, states, and provinces—so you can track market shifts, spot growth opportunities, and act before your competition does.

Start by selecting the market you want to analyze. This can be a country or a state. The table instantly gives you a powerful overview:

  • Total search volume: How many searches were made in your selected market.
  • Change in search volume: How this number evolved during the period you selected.
  • Share of Search (SoS): The share your market holds compared to all other countries or states combined.
Change in SoS: How this share has moved compared to the previous period.

You are in control of the time period. Use the three dots in the top right corner to switch between 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, or Year-to-Date. The changes in search volume and SoS are always compared with the period before, so you immediately see whether your market is gaining or losing momentum.

Want more data at a glance? You can expand the table to show more than four rows at a time. Mark a country or state as a favorite, and it will always appear at the top of your section—keeping your most relevant markets right where you need them. You can also sort any column, for example to highlight the regions with the strongest growth in search demand.

Once you’ve identified a market you want to dive into, you can analyze it in depth. Select “Analyze” in the top right corner of the section, and a pop-up will open. From here, you can go straight to the Market Analysis Liveboard, where a full breakdown of your selected country or state is waiting.

Inside the Market Analysis Liveboard

Here’s what you’ll find:

  • Overview tab: A complete snapshot of the total market for your region. See last month’s search volume, longer-term trends across months and years, seasonal fluctuations, and the balance between branded, retailer, and non-branded searches. This gives you a quick but powerful understanding of your market’s dynamics.

  • Market tab: Compare how individual states or regions within your country are performing. Spot which areas are growing faster, which are lagging, and where demand is shifting. Remember to use the time filter at the top of the liveboard, as it applies across multiple graphs.

  • Product tab: Go deeper into the products driving demand. Discover which products are winning in your market—and which ones are losing traction. Choose the level of detail you want: from broad industry view to market segments, product categories, or even specific product types. Simply use the “Your Product” filter to set your preference, and instantly see search volumes, growth trends, and shifts in consumer focus.

  • Brand and Retailer tabs: Uncover which brands are most popular in your market and how they are growing over time. The same goes for retailers—track their visibility, growth, and competitive positioning based on real search demand.

  • Market Association tab: Go beyond products and brands to see what people truly associate with your market. This shows you the themes and categories consumers are connecting to in their searches. Start with the big picture through Association Categories, drill down into Dimensions, and finally zoom in on specific Associations. Want to focus only on one category or product? Use “Right-click → Filter” from the Product tab to narrow your view, and the associations will update accordingly.

Every layer of this analysis helps you understand not only what people are searching for—but also why, when, and how their behavior is changing.

If you want to compare multiple countries or states side by side, you can select your preferences on the homepage and choose Compare. This will take you to the Market Benchmark Liveboard.

Here you’ll see which countries or states are performing best and which are lagging behind. Use the Your Market filter to switch between country and state level. The Benchmark board shows you the total search volumes and growth of your selected regions, plus the breakdown of branded, retailer, and non-branded demand per region. This lets you benchmark performance across markets in one clear view.
